Introduction
Karbakeli Than
Karbakeli Baba is the ancestral god of the Pun community, especially those living in western Nepal. The national-level Than(abode) for the Baba has been constructed on the Ramchan– Kulchan Danda (2,332 meter) of Annapurna Rural Municipality-8, Kaphaldanda, Myagdi district. Inside the Than, there are life sized statues of Karbakeli Baba, his two wives Himla and Fimla and sons Ramchan and Kulchan.
Statues have been installed inside a rural-styled building. Under the initiative of Karbakeli Research Committee Kathmandu and joint effort with Karbakeli Baba Conservation Committee Kaphaldanda, the Than was constructed.
A guest house lies in the premises of the Than. The Pun Museum has been constructed nearby. Dhaulagiri mountain stands right in front of the eye from Than. There is a 45 km road which connects Beni Bazar through Rima-Kaphaldanda to Karbakeli Than . Jeeps can be used while travelling. Or Beni-Baiseri 9 km can be travelled by bus. Karbakeli Than is a 4 hour uphill trek from Baiseri.
करबाकेली थान
विशेषतः पश्चिम नेपालमा बसोबास गर्दै आएका पुन समुदायका कुल देवता हुन् करबाकेली
बाबा । तिनै बाबाको राष्टिझयस्तरको थान म्याग्दी जिल्ला, अन्नपूर्ण गाउँपालिकाñ८ काफल डाँडाको रामचन कुलचन डाँडा (२,३३२ मिटर) मा निर्माण गरिएको छ । थानभित्र करबाकेली बाबा, उनका दुई श्रीमती हिमला एवं फिमला र छोराहरु रामचन तथा कुलचनका पूर्ण कदका मूर्ति राखिएको छ । ग्रामीण शैलीको भवनभित्र मूर्तिहरु स्थापना गरिएको छ । करबाकेली अनुसन्धान समिति काठमाडौंको पहल एवं करबाकेली बाबा संरक्षण समिति, काफलडाँडाको संयुक्त प्रयासमा थान बनाइएको । थान हातामा पाहुना घर छ । नजिकै पुन संग्रहालय निर्माण गर्ने योजना छ ।

रिमाñकाफलडाँडा हुँदै करबाकेली मन्दिरसम्म ४५ किमि सडक जोडिएको छ । जीपमा यात्रा गर्न सकिन्छ । अथवा बेनीñबैसेरी ९ किमि गाडीमा ।
बैंसेरीबाट ४ घन्टा उकालो पदयात्रामा करबाकेली थान ।
